I'm so proud to live in a place where one of the best movies of our preteen years time was filmed!
If you've never seen it before, you just might agree with this New York Times review that called it Flashdance on a Farm. It's true, big city kid moves to the small town where dancing has been banned, and after Ren McCormick the town will never be the same! They don't even let their kids read great literature like Slaughterhouse 5 in that town! But this movie has already made it's everlasting imprint on my 13 year old heart and still brings me much happiness! I'm feeling it's about time to watch it again. Going through the Kevin Bacon and dance withdrawals.

Now I feel like Sarah J. I can't take it anymore! I've got to get into a dance class so I can boogie!
Why isn't there more time for dancing when you're married with kids?! It's so wrong!

Oh my gosh! I'm with you all the way!!!!!!!!! I love to dance to-I still do it around the house when no one is watching (like clean-the-house time!) I love when we go to your house and we drive past the mill. I heard the movie is being re-made but there's only one Footloose! Love it!

oh I love it, I love that movie... I love to dance, Julia and I dance almost everyday. We blast the radio and boogie!!! But its fun to go out dancing. How about the next time you and all you sisters are here we all go dancing?
